Mission

To honor, acknowledge and pay homage to those whose countless sacrifices go unnoticed.

Criteria

Men, women, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, siblings, step families, your next door neighbor can be eligible if he or she has opened their doors to a child.

Nomination Requirements

Nominators should be prepared to attend the SOS Awards and should definitely make sure that the Nominee is present at the banquet. Nominators are encouraged to invite family, friends, and co-workers.

Award Category

*Honoring single parents who have overcome trials and obstacles. Biological and Non-Biological
*Honoring non-biological parents who are currently and have raised a child(ren).
*Honoring single moms for the rearing and development of  a successful child(ren) who are outside of the home. B & NB
*Honoring single dads for the rearing and development of a successful child(ren) who are outside of the home. B & NB
*Honoring outstanding foster parents.
*Media Mogul - honoring a single parent of a celebrity.

Nominators please be prepared to submit a video tape of yourself and nominee if selected.
